I have been on many trips - in India and Internationally - with Darter Photography spanning broad themes of landscape, culture, and wildlife. My understanding of places, people, and wildlife has grown under their guidance as has my photography. BTW, you don't need to be a photographer to be on these tours. These trips are thoughtfully put together and led by their people with warmth, knowledge, and sensitivity. The fact that I have been on so many of their tours attests to the high regard I have for them.
I was with Darter team on a trip to Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh to photograph the people and landscape there. Everything was smoothly managed and very well organised from start to finish. With regards to photography, it was everything that I expected, and more. More than just the technical aspects, I got to learn about composition, what makes for a good photograph and how to use photography as a storytelling medium. Overall I would highly recommend joining on any of the tours and I hope to be part of another one soon!
