As the new year 2015 dawned along with new aspirations and journeys it was also time to reflect on the year gone by. So we at Darter Photography announced a contest for our photographers to showcase there favorite image from 2014. Now for a photographer to pick a single image from thousands clicked in a year is not an easy task. But our photographers went down the memory lane and shared their favorite images clicked in 2014.
For us it was even tough task to pick a winner among some excellent entries that we received.
After spending considerable amount of time we are happy to announce the winners of the contest here
But first the Runners up in no particular order

Runner up: The full moon behind the Temple- image by Manju Mohan
This image by Manju Mohan was taken at Melukote and he says “It was a lovely full moon day. The full moon behind the Temple tower was a wonderful sight”
The below image was clicked by Suchi Govindarajan and she says: Travelling with old friends lends a different flavour to a vacation. You may see amazing things, taste delicious new dishes, and discover places that existed only in your dreams, but in the end, the loveliest memories are of the spaces in between. Spaces filled with jokes and conversation, memories from years ago, or sometimes just silence while you sit together in a beautiful setting and do absolutely nothing.
