Bhadra Reservoir is not just about River Terns and Small Pratincoles. On a boat ride along the reservoir, we came across many other wonders. Click on the images to view them in their original size in a slideshow.

It’s not just the birds. Often encountered are Marsh Crocodiles basking on the exposed banks. They are also easily startled, like this one photographed in the nick of time. The very next second, it had disappeared into the water. Photograph by Sahana Vasudevan
