In the last week of March, Darter Food Styling and Photography Mentor, Deeba Rajpal organized a food photo walk in Chandni Chowk, Delhi 6. The idea was to enjoy the best of the street food that Old Delhi has to offer and click some pictures as we walk around the old city.
The walk was part of global Insta Meet and was supported by Instagram who has sent a box full of love in support of the walk. Globally the walk was promoted with #WWIM13 and for our walk, we added #InstaDilliFoodWalk to add the local flavors.
As part of the walk, we requested our participants to share images on Instagram and announced that the best picture clicked during the #InstaDilliFoodWalk will get a special prize. The special prize for the winning photographer is that they get to attend the next food styling and photography workshop by Deeba Rajpal as a guest of Darter Photography. We received an overwhelming response to the walk and more than 30 foodies joined the walk including one expat. From the hundreds of pictures shared on Instagram, Deeba picked up the top 10 images that captured the theme of the walk. We are showcasing those images here
Here are the top 3 images that Deeba recognises as especially noteworthy and chose them for ” Special Mention”
But before we share the winning image let us give here a Collage of images created by Deeba herself that she shared on her Instagram account
