It’s been a few years since I have been travelling to Myanmar regularly. Each time I revisit the country, I can’t help but wonder how beautiful and photogenic the country is, how graceful its people are, how aesthetic its tall pagodas are and how composed its monks are. Everywhere I set my eyes, I lookup with amazement and wonder how is it possible for any place to be so charming.
Here is a collection of images from this beautiful country. For best viewing experience, click on any image and when you see a pop-up, navigate through left/right arrows.

Magnificent sunset over the pagodas of Bagan… The plains of Bagan are littered with pagodas that are a thousand years old. Brilliant sunrises and sunsets against the lofty pagodas are something to look forward to.

A festival in progress at Inle Lake, Myanmar, with people rowing a decorated boat. Seen in the background are mist-covered green slopes of Shan Hills. On another boat, a bunch of monks and local people watch the procession pass by.

People of Intha community at Inle Lake, Myanmar. The Intha people are famous for their unique way of rowing a boat using one leg.
These are some of the places we visit during our photography tour to Myanmar. See Classic Myanmar – A Photography Tour for more details on this tour.
