One of the most important things about landscape photography is to be at location very early in the morning, or during sunset. The same photograph below would look very dull once the sun is high up.
Photographing landscapes takes some understanding of the way light works in a open landscapes. Since we have little control over the lighting and the atmosphere, it is important for the landscape photographer to assess and understand the light, atmosphere and the seasons. This is especially true in tropical countries like India, where the quality of light deteriorates drastically after the morning hours.
