Landscape Photography Workshop – Gokarna

Learn the art of landscape photography. At Gokarna on Feb 01 – 03, 2019

This might have happened to you: there is a magnificent scenery unfolding in front you; may be a golden sunset against the lapping waves of the ocean, perhaps a mountain bathed in morning colours or something so amazing that the words can’t describe. But when you press the shutter button and look into the camera screen, what you see is a tepid, disappointing rendition that makes you feel betrayed by the camera. If you are looking to bridge that wide gap between an awesomeness you see and what your camera has captured, you shoud be on this workshop! Wildlife Photography in Tal-Chhapar

February 7-10, 2019
Tal Chapar endears itself to the wildlife photographer and nature lover in an instant. Amidst the gently swaying grasses, blackbucks in their thousands gambol all over the park. Harriers glide over the grass gracefully, looking for their next meal. A huge flock of Demoiselle Cranes takes off from a corner of the park. A fox appears on the track, only to disappear the next moment. A Peafowl calls out loudly from somewhere.. This small wildlife sanctuary is a piece of heaven away from all the glitzy large-mammal national parks! Join us on this tour today: Grassland Fantasy – Wildlife Photography Tour of Tal Chapar

Photography in the Himalayas

The highest mountains in the world are home to amazing landscapes and unique cultures. We begin our Himalayan tours this year with an unparalleled journey to Ladakh in winter (see beginning of the post for more details), followed by tours to Bhutan, Ladakh, Zanskar and the highlands of Changthang.

Bhutan: happiness is getting behind the camera!

Photographing the culture, tradition, people and landscapes in the mountains of Bhutan – April 14-21, 2019.

We love Bhutan more than any other place in the world. The country has a charm that can uplift the spirits of every visitor. We are also often surprised at how very few people have tried to understand the essence of this country or have explored it up-close. We bring you photography opportunities in Bhutan that are diverse in nature, including its beautiful Himalayas landscapes, a happy culture along with its elegant architecture. Bhutanese like to call their country a happy place. We tend to agree, and quickly get behind our cameras where we are happier than anywhere else! This is one of our highly recommended Himalayan photography tours. Come on board: travel photography tour to Bhutan.
